How To Cook Rolled Oats

Rolled oats are oat groats that have been partially cooked (steamed) then flattened with a roller. Oats are commonly known for their super food qualities. They have a log GI so they are slowly absorbed by your system, giving you hours of energy. They are used in cookies, puddings, muffins, crumbles, toppings for desserts and most of all they make a delicious, healthy and warm breakfast!


• 1/3 cup  OUR ORGANICS Certified Organic Rolled Oats
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/3 cup Non Dairy Milk, such as Oat, Rice or Almond.


Rolled Oats:
• Combine oats, milk and water in a medium sauce pan over medium to medium-high heat and bring to a boil.

• Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until oatmeal reaches desired thickness. 

• Spoon oatmeal into a bowl and add some organic fruit, nuts, some extra milk or any of your favourite toppings.
