recipe- Organic Banana Bread low sugar

Makes one 24cm loaf

1 cup our organics plain wheat flour/spelt flour
1⁄2 cup our organics self-raising flour spelt flour
1 cup xyitol
125 grams melted butter cooled
2 organic eggs
2-3 ripe bananas 

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Vanilla essence 



  1. Preheat moderate oven (1800C/3600F)

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together

  3. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl

  4. Make well in the dry ingredients

  5. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix

  6. Pour the mix into a greased and floured tin (Lizzie uses a loaf tin 24cm x 13cm)

  7. Bake for 45-50 mins or until a skewer placed in the bread comes out clean

  8. Cool on wire rack
